Privacy Policy

MultiSwing collects nothing about you. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no server of ours for anything to be sent to. Every swing you record stays on the device that filmed it.
That is the whole policy. The rest of this page explains what the app does touch on your device and why, so you can check the claim rather than take it on trust.
What the app records
MultiSwing films golf swings using your device's camera and microphone. Video is written to the app's own storage on your device. The microphone is used two ways: the sound of ball impact is one of the signals that decides a swing happened, and that audio is recorded as part of the clip.
Swings are analysed entirely on the device. Body positions are read from the video frames by Apple's on-device Vision framework, and the swing checks run locally. No frame, no measurement and no result leaves your device as part of that analysis.
Connections between your own devices
MultiSwing's only networking is a direct link between devices you control, over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on your local network, using Apple's Multipeer Connectivity. It is used to pair your phones, to trigger them together, and to send clips from one to another so a replay can show two angles side by side.
There is no intermediary. Clips are not uploaded, relayed or backed up anywhere, and MultiSwing has no account system to attach them to. If you never pair a second device, the app makes no network connection at all.
When pairing, devices announce a name so you can tell them apart in the list. That name is visible only to devices on the same local network during pairing.
Your photo library
MultiSwing asks for permission to add to your photo library, and only when you choose to export a swing. It does not request or hold read access to your library.
Separately, you can import an existing video into MultiSwing. That uses the standard iOS picker: you choose the file, and the app receives only that one video.
What is stored, and for how long
- Swing clips and their measurements, in the app's own storage.
- Your settings, and the identities of devices you chose to remember for pairing, in the app's own preferences.
- A local diagnostics log, which stays on the device and is rotated as it grows.
All of it lives inside the app. Deleting a swing removes it; deleting MultiSwing removes everything at once. There is nothing held elsewhere for you to request, correct or have erased, because nothing is ever sent elsewhere.
Third parties
There are none. MultiSwing contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising identifier and no social login. Nothing in the app profiles you or tracks you across other apps or websites, and no data is sold or shared.
This website is served as static pages by GitHub Pages, which, like any web host, processes request data such as your IP address in order to serve the page. The site sets no cookies of its own. It does load web fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those font files from Google's servers.
Children
MultiSwing is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, children included.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Any change that affected what the app collects would be noted in the App Store release notes as well.
